I began my teaching career in 1992 and joined the Anchorage School team in 2010. I have taught all grades K-4, but my favorite grade is kindergarten. I love their energy and excitement for learning.  There is nothing better than seeing the joy they feel when they grasp a new concept.  I am married to Chris, whom I met in 7th grade. We have 4 adult children: Aden, Austen, Tristan, and Emma, along with three grandchildren. I love being a part of this wonderful learning environment and working with the amazing families in our community.

Courtney Van Nevel

I began teaching in 2016 and joined the Anchorage School team in 2017. I graduated from Centre College with a degree in Psychology and then received a Master's in Teaching from Bellarmine University. I am married to my college sweetheart, Ben Van Nevel, and we share three precious daughters. I grew up in Louisville and have family who lives in Anchorage. I enjoy seeing the students and their families at neighborhood events throughout the year, the pool, and the Anchorage trail. I love teaching in Anchorage and enjoy being part of such a wonderful community!

Brooke Noon

My husband and I are the proud parents of our two teenage sons and are entertained daily by our canine companion, Oakley! I enjoy spending time with family and friends, love to attend sporting events, and enjoy dining out.  I am entering my 24th year of teaching!  I am thrilled to be returning to the amazing Anchorage school community!
